Mary Walsh

Mary earned her BS in Elementary Education from Indiana University. After graduating, she taught in Rogers Park for 4 years, then took a break from the classroom to raise her four children. She has lived in Elmhurst for 19 years, where she remained active in education, substituting all grade levels for 8 years, and as a permanent Building Substitute at Sandburg Middle School for the past 4 years. She is very excited to return to full-time teaching and to lead a classroom of her own. When not working, Mary is an avid reader of historical fiction, loves to golf, bike ride, and enjoys spending time with her family and their little dog Teddy.
