Mary Fischer
Preschool and Kindergarten Teacher
I graduated from Zion-Concord Lutheran School in 2015. I started working at the school in 2017 as a summer camp counselor, extended care worker, and teacher’s aide. I became the Preschool and Kindergarten teacher in 2024. When I’m not teaching, I volunteer as a psychiatric service dog trainer for veterans. I also enjoy watercolor art and learning more about animal intelligence.
Teaching Philosophy:
My teaching philosophy is that all children need a supportive and engaging learning environment that addresses each student’s needs and learning styles. Every student should feel valued and motivated to learn.
Education:
I have a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Animal Behavior from Carroll University.
