Colleen McNamara

Colleen is thrilled to be joining the Zion-Concord community. She has five years of experience working in elementary education, most recently serving as the 4th and 5th grade co-teacher at Baker Demonstration School in Wilmette. Colleen was born and raised in the northern suburbs of Chicago, where she graduated from Loyola Academy. She went on to receive her bachelor’s degree at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts, before returning to Illinois to receive her master’s degree in Elementary Education at National Louis University. Colleen is passionate about building strong relationships with students and families, and strives to create a classroom where every child feels valued and heard.

We are thrilled to have them on board and look forward to the contributions they will make to our school.
