Deanna McMillen

Preschool Teacher
My name is Deanna McMillen, and I am so honored and blessed to be working with your child this year. My heart’s desire is to create a warm, welcoming environment where each child feels like this classroom is their second home.
While academics are a priority, my greatest joy is also helping children grow spiritually—encouraging them to know the love of God and guiding them as they become who He created them to be. I’m excited to partner with you in helping your child reach their full potential—both in learning and in life.
I bring a strong background in early childhood education, with experience working with children from infancy through Pre-K. I studied at Elmhurst College and completed my Early Childhood coursework at Penn Foster. I’m passionate about lifelong learning and continually strive to grow as an educator for the benefit of the amazing young minds I serve.
Outside the classroom, I’m a proud mom to two 16-year-olds—a son and a daughter. Our son joined our family through adoption from Bulgaria 11 years ago. As a family, we love getting messy, exploring nature, and going on all sorts of outdoor adventures together.
I am truly looking forward to a wonderful year filled with learning, growth, and deepening our understanding of God’s love.
